Education Study Norwegian in Tigrinya/ Amharic 02/04/2008 :: Yacob Gebretensae Tsegay at the University of Oslo has developed a self study programme for Tigrinya and Amharic-speakers to learn Norwegian under the auspices of professor Rolf Theil. The self study programme includes a range of information on Norwegian culture and traditions as well as customary conversations in Norwegian culture. Six young polar explorers are spending the spring crossing Ellesmere Island in Canada in order to document climate change and inspire their own generation to take collective action against global warming.
